Re: vmnet ip addressing question

As mentioned - I can remove the odd 192.168.204.1 IP address from the virtual adapter -

but after a few seconds it returns - and always as the primary IP address.

When setting the IP address for the vmnet - the adapters IP is always set automatically by VMware Workstation -

and if you change it VMware will automatically change it back. But this change does not follow the book or the rules.

So unless I remove the virtual adapter then the address stays - it's a pain in the %¤#
