Hardware: 2*EPYC 7742 CPU. OS is ubuntu 20.04. 256G RAM + 2080Ti Graphic Card. AMD-V is switched on.
I installed linux vmware player/pro to run Windows 64bit. I set the processor as 6 or more. I hope the Guest (win64) can use that. But what I found is that the Guest win system is a little bit of slow. I can feel that the guest does not use all 6 processors at all, even there shows 6 processors in win's task manager.I gave 16 RAM to the Guest and switch on the 3D acceleration. In any case, I suspect the Guest is not using all physical processors.
In ubuntu, I check by "top" command, it shows only one vmware-vmx and occupies more than 100%. Sometimes it occupies 300% - 500%, which I dont understand. Shouldn't be 6 vmware-vmx and all of them occupies below 100%?
